All payments for our online and weekend courses must be made in full either by Debit/Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Deposit or by Bank Transfer. Once we receive payment you will be sent an email with confirmation details of the payment and instructions on how to activate or start your course.
All our courses are graded by continuous assessment. A qualified TEFL tutor will mark your answers and is available if you require any further help. Your final award is graded on the following scale: A, B or Pass. You will receive the Global Language Training certificate in TEFL/TESOL and written assessment which acts as a reference on successful completion.

You have a total of 3 attempts at all assignments and tests on our online courses. If you fail any of the assignments and tests, you fail the course.
If you do not attend both days for the weekend course, you fail the course.
Online courses: You can contact your trainer or tutor at any time by email. For general questions your trainer will reply within 48 hours (Monday to Friday). For feedback on assignments your trainer will respond within 5 days (Monday to Friday).
Global Language Training reserves the right to change any of the prices, services or other particulars contained on the website at any time.
All non-native speakers should have a complete command of the English Language in order to enrol on our course. If you are unsure of your English Language level please contact us for a test. If at any time during the course your trainer or tutor feels that you do not have enough knowledge of the language he will refer the case to the Academic Director who will review the case and make a decision on the continuation of the trainee. If the trainee does not fulfil the language requirements he may be failed and no refund provided.
Online courses: A trainer or tutor will respond within 5 working days to any of your academic queries or assignments. We can't be held responsible if we fail to contact you within 5 days due to an incorrect or cancelled email address or a change of telephone number.
Online courses: If for any reason you do not wish to continue with the course you may transfer your course to a friend for an administrative fee of £10 subject to the following conditions:
If two months have passed we can still do the transfer for a fee of £20. However, the above points c,d and e will apply.
Weekend courses cannot be transferred.

Online course: If for any reason you do not wish to continue with the course and you notify us within 7 days from the date of purchase you will be entitled to a full refund. You will receive the refund within 14 days.
Weekend courses:
Weekend courses fees are subject to a non-refundable £45 deposit, which will be retained by Global Language Training should the trainee decide to cancel his/her participation in the course. You will not receive a refund if you cancel the course 8 days prior to the course commencing.
Global Language Training reserves the right to cancel your booking or make changes to your booking dates. If we cancel the course due to not having the minimum number of participants, we will provide a full refund of monies paid for the course within 5 days.
In the rare event of a Global trainer being unable to attend due to illness, transportation problem or other unusual circumstances beyond their control, the weekend or In-class course may be cancelled. Global TEFL will try to provide an alternative trainer if possible. This may not always be possible. Refunds of any fees paid will be made within 5 days but no liability shall be taken for travel or accommodation costs or expenses.
Weekend and In-class course date changes:
All changes need to be requested two weeks prior to the course date for a fee £20. Any changes within two weeks from the date of the course will not be accepted.

Hard Copy Certificate
You will be provided with a PDF certificate sent via email 5 days after you inform us of your course completion. You can print it or send it to any future employer via email. Your certificate can be verified online on our certificate validation link. If you need a Global TEFL hard copy of your certificate sent via regular mail, there is a cost of £24 per certificate. If you wish to have it sent via express courier such as DHL or Fedex you will need to contact us for a quote on the price of shipping.
Soft Copy Certificate
As of May 1st, 2023, any trainee who has completed the 250-hour Expert TEFL/TESOL course will receive one certificate of completion for said course. If you wish to receive any of the complementary 40-hour course digital certificates, there will be an additional fee of £10 per certificate.

Free Job Placement Service
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risks in Job Placement
Global Language Training (Global TEFL) does not guarantee a job for any of its graduates nor does it offer jobs directly. Our job placement service acts as a referral, guidance and assistance for anyone looking for a job in TEFL abroad. Global Language Training does not provide a job contract nor assumes any responsibility for overseas contractors.
All jobs referred must be checked by the graduate or applicant and all terms and conditions of those jobs offered must be independently verified before the person accepts the job abroad.
By accepting to participate in our free job placement programme you are voluntarily acknowledging that travel to, from and within the foreign country in which the job is located, have inherent risks and dangers that you may be exposed to and possibly harmed by. These include, but are not limited to, personal injuries, property damage, accidents involving motor vehicles, aircraft and other forms of transportation, sickness, diseases (including food, water or insect borne diseases that are not commonly encountered in the UK, The United States Canada, South Africa, Australia, etc), riots, political instability, crime, acts of terrorism, detention by government authorities or individuals, burglary, assault, encounters with dangerous wildlife and other hazards. You acknowledge that as a job applicant, you may travel to remote rural areas and will lodge and eat with the residents in those areas. As such, the accommodations, food and sanitary conditions may be less than what you are accustomed to in your country of residence.
In no event shall Global Language Training be liable for any damages or losses and you hereby release Global TEFL and its employees, agents, volunteers, officers, directors and representatives (each, a "Releasee") from any and all injuries, deaths, losses, liabilities, damages, claims, actions, suits and judgments whatsoever including costs, expenses and attorney fees (collectively, "Claims") that you may have now or in the future, directly or indirectly, arising from, connected with or related to your job placement, including with respect to the attached medical durable power of attorney, whether caused by any Releasee or some other person or cause. You agree that you will not, at any time, directly or indirectly, on behalf of yourself, your child and your heirs, commence or prosecute any action, suit or other proceeding against any Releasee arising from, connected with or related to my participation in the job placement programme. You agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend each Releasee from and against any and all Claims whatsoever that the Releasee may suffer arising from, connected with or related to my participation in the job placement programme, whether inside or outside of the UK.
By participating in our Job Placement programme you hereby grant full permission to Global TEFL to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings, comments you make in questionnaires or letters or any other record of the program for purposes of commercial advertising, marketing or promotional literature without the need for further consent from me.
Global TEFL also suggests that you purchase a travel insurance plan which covers medical expenses, emergency medical evacuations, accidental death or dismemberment and repatriation of remains for the period that you will be contracted for.
By accepting a paid TEFL job, you become an employee of the hiring school and/or organization, and must comply with all work rules and practices as defined by that school. While Global jobs staff will work with you to locate and evaluate paid assignments, the final decision is between you and the hiring school. All contracts and agreements entered into between you and the school or hiring organization will be considered your responsibility and not that of Global TEFL Jobs Placement service. At no time during your training or job placement will you be, or will you be considered, an employee of Global TEFL in the UK.
The hiring overseas organization may be an employment agency that works with schools and private language institutes. These organizations may also be schools and/or private language institutes.
Global Language Training offers all its graduates apostille, embassy attestation and notary services for our TEFL certificates. Schools and recruiters in countries like China and Vietnam demand the original copy of the certificate to be legalised by the embassy. Our certificates are accepted by the embassies of those countries for a work visa.

Type of information we collect about you
When you enrol in one of our programmes we collect name, address and contact details (such as email, address and telephone number) when you submit an on-line form, when requesting a quote or because you purchased a course or service from us. We may also collect opinions or additional data about you that you have added into the free text area in the contact us forms, in our course forums, in surveys in the course or through any resulting correspondence with our team, phone calls or through surveys.
We also collect additional relevant information about you when you apply for jobs in our jobs list page. We need to collect this in order for you to benefit from the jobs offered and to forward this to our recruitment partners or schools. If you do not, we would be unable to do this.
When visiting our website, we collect your IP address, data showing when you visited, which pages you looked at, information about your operating system, country of origin, device and browser version. How long do we keep your personal information?
How long we keep your personal information depends on why we have it and what we’re doing with it. For our TEFL/TESOL courses we keep it indefinitely for certificate verification purposes as some future employer may contact us or verify the authenticity of your certificate.
• We keep records of any dealings you have with us for up to 3 years after the last contact. This is so that we can respond to any complaints or disputes that may arise about any of our courses or if you wish to re-enrol in one of our courses.
• We will keep other personal information about you if it is necessary for us to do so to comply with the law.
• Data collected from using the website such as IP address is deleted after 1 year.
Transferring information outside of the EEA
Your personal information may be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA) where privacy laws may not provide protection to the same level as in the UK. Before any transfer takes place, we will take steps to ensure that your personal information will be adequately protected as required by the UK Data Protection Act and that safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.
