The TEACH Fellowship (Teach English Abroad and Change Happens), launched in 2023 by the Association of International Cultural and Educational Exchange Taiwan (AICEE), invites passionate teachers from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, and the US to teach in K-12 schools across Taiwan.
The program aims to create a bilingual and culturally immersive learning environment, enhancing Taiwanese students' English skills and promoting global cultural exchange. By fostering collaboration between native English-speaking and Taiwanese educators, TEACH Fellowship develops innovative teaching methods and curriculum. It also enriches cross-cultural understanding, benefiting both teachers and local communities.
Participants will collaborate with local educators to develop innovative curricula and effective teaching methods, contributing to the educational landscape of Taiwan. Join us in shaping a multicultural future for education in Taiwan!

Location: Taiwan: Taipei, New Taipei.

Salary: Monthly Stipend: $2,000-$2,800 depending on experience and placement type, comparable to native English teacher or Assistant Professor salaries in Taiwan.

  • Housing: Assistance with housing arrangements; rent is included in the stipend.
  • Visa Support: Guidance provided for obtaining necessary visas.
  • Airport Pick-Up: Arranged upon arrival in Taiwan upon request.
  • Administrative Support: Pre-arrival consultations, life adaptation guidance, and ongoing communication support with schools.
    *Reimbursement rates are subject to exchange rates at the time of purchase and processed upon arrival in Taiwan.

Requirements


  • Candidates for the TEACH Fellowship Program in Taiwan should have a strong interest in Taiwan or in a career teaching, particularly teaching English to speakers of other languages.
  • Be a native level English speaker.
  • Be a citizen (as the nationality shown on the passport) of one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, or New Zealand.
  • Hold a bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university or college before arrival in Taiwan.
  • Have at least one of the following:
    - a state-issued teaching license or certificate in any subject at any level, (Applicants with teaching licenses or certificates are preferred, and retired teachers are eligible), or
    - a TESOL/TEFL certificate/degree from a program with at least 120 hours of student/teaching contact, or
    - a minimum of two years teaching experience at public or private K-12 institutions.
  • Finalists will need to complete an online interview by AICEE.
